About Marcia

I am passionate about massage and yoga because both have a big impact on my life.  These practices help me to be healthy, joyful and kind, and to live in harmony with the stresses of life and the limitations of my body. I apply massage and yoga as complementary and alternative medicine treatments for prenatal and postpartum women, and for patients with chronic neck and low back pain.  To support that goal, I have completed the following certifications:

Massage therapist (LMT # 17622)
Since 2010. I received my training at the Shiatsu Massage School of California and the Oregon School of Massage.

I have received special training in prenatal and post natal massage from Leslie Stager, LMT and the Family Massage Education Center in Ashland, Oregon.

Yoga Alliance Registered teacher (RYT – 200 hr)
Since 2009. I have studied with many teachers in Corvallis, Los Angeles, Sri Lanka, and India, and my teaching is influenced by Iyengar, Anusara, Bikram and Ana Forrest.
